What do you think is the best linux (or non-linux if there is one) OS that is free yet the most user friendly? I am going to be setting up some old PCs to give away to some refugees at my church and need to be able to put on them, a free OS that is the most user friendly. What do you recommend. I've tried Ubuntu before but that's it. What about Fedora and the like?

Ubuntu 9.10 is probably the most user friendly, and there's also a version which looks like XP.

Yah I saw that. i've been looking into it again like now lol. Anyway, decided I'll go ubuntu but may go a variant of it like Kubuntu or Xbuntu
