ok, so need a new pc, just need the box already have keyboard/mouse/screens.
I need the pc for mainly school work and hopefully some gaming when i have the time. The build must include a wireless card, tv tuner card, a video card with Dual dvi out, and a windows 7 OEM licence.. I also hope to do some overclocking.
I think i have settled on a budget of around 1300, but im sure i can be convinced to go a bit higher
thanks you,
Licky

MSY isn't the best place to get a system, but I'll assume your local place has stock.

Home Premium is pretty good. There isn't much Pro offers over it. Research it if you're worried. If you go to TAFE or Uni, you might be able to get Pro Upgrade for $50 here. I want to get a tv tuner card with a remote though, so any other suggestions on that?
I believe that one comes with a remote.

For the upgrade do you have to install xp/vista first?

I don't believe so. You can always upgrade off the upgrade install - yes, that works.

Antec 900 is the best choice from MSY in that price range.

The first machine is better for CPU intensive tasks and has a better TV tuner. That being said, both tuners are capable of playing 1080i HDTV. This machine is also cheaper.
The second PC is better if you're a gamer who plays modern games at high detail. The case is smaller to make up for the added price.
